After our absolutely cracking party back in February - which was one of the busiest we have ever done - we return to our spiritual home of [B]Bar Vinyl[/B] in [B]Camden Town[/B] on [B]Friday 16th April[/B] for our special 'Welcome to Spring' party!
With the days getting longer and the freezing winter a distant memory, our [B]summery[/B] house sounds will be the perfect soundtrack to a super chilled evening in uber-trendy Camden. Bar Vinyl, just a few seconds from Camden Town tube is a real hidden gem, with its laidback attitude and [B]forward-thinking[/B] music policy.
Fresh from their [B]red-hot[/B] performance at [B]Nuestra Casa[/B] back in October, we welcome back our special guest DJ tag-team for the evening in the form of the legendary producer from [B]Hooj[/B] records [B]Medway[/B], and the uber talented producer/DJ [B]Andrew Rose[/B] from [B]Polytechnic Recordings[/B].
Over the past 10 years [B]Medway[/B] has blazed a trail of stellar productions that have featured in the sets of some of the worlds biggest DJs including Digweed, Satoshi Tomiie and, possibly most famously, on the [B]Ibiza[/B] and [B]San Francisco[/B] editions of [B]Sasha’s Global Underground[/B] mixes. In recent years he has continued to demonstrate his versatility, releasing scores of excellent tracks and remixes across a variety of genres and labels.
Going back to back with [B]Medway[/B] will be his good friend [B]Andrew Rose[/B] who has recently been rocking dancefloors with his tough but melodic mix of house and breaks, and has a great back catalogue of self-produced tracks out on [B]Polytechnic Recordings[/B]. It goes without saying we are really excited to hear which underground gems they bring to the party!
Joining Medway and Andrew on the decks will be our irrepressible [B]Nuestra Casa residents[/B] in the form of the disco-progressive, neo-house dynamic duo [B]BroKen DJs[/B], and the bouncy, tech-funk partnership of [B]Oliver James & Cosmique[/B].
Bar Vinyl will very kindly help get the party lubricated with its [B]Happy Hour[/B] drinks offers running from 5pm – 7pm: Red Stripe is £2.50, Cocktails are £6.00 and it’s 2 for 1 on selected beers.
And entry is [B]FREE ALL NIGHT LONG[/B] so there really is no excuse not to :-)
