hi, was just wondering if anyone on this board is going to global gathering

I got my ticket a few months ago and i cant believe there's only 11 days to go!!

i have to say the lineup's probably the best collection of DJs i have ever seen in one place.

unfortunately none of the people i'm going with are into prog so won't be spending that much time in the bedrock arena, but i'm definitely going to make an effort to see Danny Howells - he's the man!

apart from that i'm looking forward to rocking it in the techno tent to Carl Cox and Umek, checking out adam freeland, and maybe some eric morillo or roger sanchez.

wot are everyone else's thoughts? who u looking forward to seeing the most?

oh and does anyone know if sasha and diggers are playing together or seperately? i really would like to see diggers in a solo set..

ill be there with bells on, been looking forward to this for a while.

im just basically gonna be in the bedrock tent all day, but i wanna see some of the plumps, stantons, hybrid, UNKLE & freeland in the air tent, line-ups just so good though that u just know there are gonna be so many good djs clashing.

no idea about s&d playing together, but from previous festival appearances when they have been on the same bill they normally play together, but ive no idea if thats whats gonna happen this time.

Yeah its ok. Great line up but it's all DJs. The line up for Creamfields has more live acts... better for a festival scenario imo.

depends what u r looking for imo, there are plenty of festivals out there that cater for live acts (and not just dance festivals, the like of glasto & t in the park as well), i dont think GKGG has ever really had live acts, its all dj based, the creamfields line-up is much weaker that GKGG

Re: Global gathering

I'm only going on the Friday Night due to other commitments. Deffo gonna go see Underworld, but want to catch Sasha and Deep Dish as well. I agree wit the comment about Creamfields (it looks pants this year), still gonna go though just to see Hernan and Faithless (for the last time?).
