Nathan Coles.

A londoni születésű Nathan funk és rare groove diétán nőtt fel, de sok kortársához hasonlóan ő is az Acid House forradalom idején látta meg a fényt olyan bulikon, mint a Spectrum a Heaven-ben és a szabadtéri Sunrise partikon. Akkor született meg az Acid House, a legnagyobb zenei mozgalom a Rock ‘n Roll óta, és Nathan már a kezdet kezdetén ott volt, felkészülve arra, hogy letegye névjegyét. Mr. C-vel karöltve elindította a Release party sorozatot, ahol is tökéletesítette lemezpörgetési tudományát. Mr. C a Shamen-hez kötődő elfoglaltságai miatt nem tudta folytatni, de Nathan egyedül is tovább vitte a bulisorozatot, melyet immár Release the Pressure-nek hívtak. Nathan ekkor már neves underground DJ-nek számított, de az igazi robbanás 1994-ben következett be, amikor is ő, Terry Francis és Eddie Richards útjára indították a legendás WIGGLE bulikat, ahol a mára már hatalmas mozgalommá vált Tech-House stílus születésénél bábáskodtak. A Wiggle sorozat hatalmas siker lett, amit mi sem bizonyít jobban, mint hogy a MUZIK magazin jelölte őket éves szavazásán a “Legjobb Underground Klub” kategóriában.

A DJ-ként elért eredményeit szemlélve egyáltalán nem meglepő, hogy producerként is hasonló sikerrel tevékenykedik. Az elmúlt 10 év alatt meggyőző portfoliót alakított ki house és break kiadványokból egyaránt, olyan neves kiadóknál, mint például a Loaded, Visitor, Plank, Eye 4 Sound, Swag, The End, Wrong, Oblong, Missile, Groove Pleasure, 10 Kilo, Eukahouse, Big Chief és a Household Recordings.

Producer társait is mindig gondosan megválogatta, csak a legjobbakkal dolgozott együtt, ilyen volt például Nils Hess (mint Get Fucked), Asad Rizvi (Two Right Wrongans) és Terry Francis (The Delinquents/Housey Doingz). Emellett nem szabad megfelejtkeznünk a breakbeat-ben tett munkásságairól, akár egyedül (szólóalbum a 10 Kilo-nál), akár Bushwacka!-val Mashupheadz néven a Plank-nál!

Nem utolsó sorban pedig, mint a Fabric Club egyik rezidens lemezlovasa az a megtiszteltetés érte, hogy ő és Wiggle társa Terry Francis készíthette a legutóbbi Fabric Mix-et természetesen Wiggle név alatt.

The date: 19th of August The place: DTD, Kiskunhalas, Hungary, The DJs: Sasha and John Digweed (plus Jimmy van M) - Delta Heavy for Hungary! :)

They seem to make this kind of a habit, come and entertain us once each summer, which I don't mind one bit. ;)

But, the owners of the venue should seriously reconsider the name of the place. I mean how lame does Dance Tuning Disco sound? It's a crappy name, I hope the place is not crappy, too. I have never been. Anyone?

DTD is a good place, quite big, and the sound system is also one of the best in Hungary...But for Sasha&Digweed...hmm..it will be extremely crowded!!!You need a barell of water to survive:twisted:

Well, it was not crowded, at least not crowded so it would become an issue. There was a lot of people, that's true, The party was a letdown for me, I enjoyed last years' sooo much more. This was allright, last years' was unforgettable. I don't think I'll ever go to Kiskunhalas again, though. Take my advice get some accomodation there, so there is not the need to go home in the morning to Budapest, or anywhere else. That way you can have a much more free experience through the night. I guess not having any accomodation ruined it for me this time.

Sasha had the upper hand that night, for sure. He moved the crowd much more. John's set was not bad by any standards, had his peaks, but more so some lows. John played first for like two hours and then Sasha took over, and finally they played back-to-back, this is where they begun to show no mercy... :) Unfortunately I was to fussy by the time in order to appreciate that, so we just listened from the parking lot and then left for Budapest around 6AM. I am listening to some of the recent transitions shows now and some of the tunes were played through the night, and I am beginning to think that had I been in a different mindset that night I would declare the party the best I have ever been at, like some others do in Hungary.

Its the best place ive been to dude. I lived not far bout 30 kms from DTD. I now moved to Australia. I will always remember that club. I havnt seen a good club as that one here in Sydney. That place rocks man. Check out the pics ull be impressed. The people there are awesome too. Let us know how it went.

I will be in Budapest May 29th until May 31 so please let me know what djs play on those dates. (Cattaneo was supossed to play at club studio on the 30th but they change it to the 31 since he will be playing in a near city I forgot the name.

Please help out as it would be my first time in the beautiful Hungary.
