Zaki Lais is a well known and respected DJ, Producer and Founder of record label Muak. His passion for house music leads him on a mission to bring the sound of deep house, out of the underground and into the mainstream. This mission, started out from a base in East London where Zaki grew up and still resides, has since led him on journeys across the globe to play, promote and produce the music he lives so passionately for. Starting out on the early pirate radio stations Risk [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1509"]FM[/url] and Touch [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1509"]FM[/url], Zaki helped to pioneer the deep house sound across London’s airwaves and was an instrumental figure behind the house music explosion of the mid 1990s. His love and passion for deep house have enabled him to play alongside house pioneers and friends [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=17"]DJ Sneak[/url], Kerry Chandler, Jimspter, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=233"]Milton Jackson[/url], DJ Le Roi, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1251"]Fish Go Deep[/url], Andre Lodemann to name a few.
