Introducing We Are FSTVL, a brand new 15,000 capacity dance festival launching in 2013 which promises to bring together the biggest names in electronic dance music alongside some of the world’s leading club brands and labels in a remarkable setting. Taking place on Saturday 25th May 2013, a stone’s throw from London in Upminster, Essex, the inaugural festival will play host to over 70 acts across 10 stages and arenas over one day from 11am – 2.30am.

Among the first confirmed names are heavyweights such as Cocoon boss Sven Väth and [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=96"]Ricardo Villalobos[/url] – who will each play a 3 hour set in what is the first time they have played alongside one another in London & the South East since 2008 – and will be bringing the trademark Cocoon Heroes sound alongside [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=834"]Martinez[/url] and Sascha Dive.

The hard partying Crosstown Rebels crew will be descending en masse with a line-up that read’s like a who’s who of their leading DJs and producers, including [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1549"]Art Department[/url], [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1773"]Subb-An[/url], [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1727"]Amirali[/url] and label founder Damian Lazarus. Look out for a special appearances from Innervisions’ [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1674"]Dixon[/url] and Wagon Repair’s Mathew Johnson.

Pioneers of throwing parties in unusual underground locations, Mulletover will be hosting their first ever rave in a crop circle with Kerri Chandler, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=968"]Joy Orbison[/url], [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1134"]Huxley[/url], Waifs N Strays and more alongside heralded underground deep house and minimal tech Ibiza night Kehakuma. Known for their running Japanese theme at Space, they will be bringing a touch of Japan with them, with The [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=834"]Martinez[/url] Brothers, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=238"]Guy Gerber[/url], RPR Soundsystem, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=237"]Nick Curly[/url], Matthias Tanzamann and others set to play in the Japanese Garden.

Crèche will be putting on a typically forward-thinking underground line up with MK, No Artificial Colours, PBC Street Gang, Digitaria and Mark Jenkyns alongside fellow Sunday stalwarts, Secret Sundaze who will be taking over Tropix with Deetron, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1285"]Delano Smith[/url], James Priestly and Giles Smith while the Kigu crew will be throwing an Igloo Rave with Dusky, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=482"]Terry Farley[/url] and more.

Not content with hosting an expansive world class line-up, We Are FSTVL will be placing a huge emphasis on production to create an unrivalled festival experience, never before applied to the UK dance festival market. Taking place over a sprawling 122 acre former WW1 airfield in Upminster, Essex – a 20 minute train journey from Central London – custom built structures will give each arena its own distinctive identity to create a series of parallel worlds. Expect to see an arena made entirely out of shipping containers, a 2,000 capacity beach arena inspired by a tiki paradise and a secret crop circle rave, each with its own set of LED video [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=472"]walls[/url], state of the art lasers and Funktion One Sound systems.

Plus prepare for unexpected twists and surprises nestled away such as dress-up boxes and play areas for those who want to blend seamlessly into their fantastical surroundings and bespoke never-before-seen design details, making We Are FSTVL set to be a game-changer.
