After a 2011 to remember, it has taken genre-defying underground club brand [b]Spectrum[/b] a while to catch their breath and lay their plans for a bigger and better 2012. Opting for the approach of quality over quantity, it will be a triumphant return to London's best warehouse space - [b]Great Suffolk Street Warehouse[/b]. The scene of two of last year's most memorable parties in the capital, Spectrum bring forth another festival styled line up to the awesome Southwark Tunnels in South London.

Welcoming back the Brit Award nominated [b]Chase & Status[/b] to headline on the decks, accompanied by [b]MC Rage[/b]. The London-based drum & bass/dubstep act have gone from strength to strength in the last two years and now command headline slots at many of the world's best know festivals. [b]Sub Focus[/b] is another artist who's recently popularity has seen them hitting radio play lists and gaining further notoriety, definitely one of the bass scene's brightest starts. The huge Flare Audio sound system is guaranteed to get a work out of epic proportion.

[b]Redlight[/b] returns to [b]Spectrum[/b], headlining a room that’s packed with 2012’s hottest acts. Featuring the likes of [b]Disclosure[/b] playing Live who have been hot picks from Zane Lowe and Huw Stephens, and have just supported [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1694"]SBTRKT[/url] on the latest sold out tour. We all remember [b]Ben Westbeech’s[/b] D&B bangers, more recently his house slanted project BrEach has been grabbing the headlines all his usual hallmarks of quality throughout.

For the dubsteppers, MTA’s [b]Killsonik[/b] make their Spectrum debut, as do drum & bass hotshot's Major Look who perform a live PA and finally we welcome [b]Zombie Kids[/b] from Madrid to close the main room. Spectrum head honcho [b]Pete Jordan[/b] hosts this all-star cast.

[b]Disclosure[/b] are currently hot as can be and what better platform to showcase their talent’s then Spectrum!

Disclosure are an excessively talented pair of brothers from South West London whose musical abilities outstrips some artists who have been in the game since before either of them were born. At only 17 and 20 Guy and Howard [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=346"]Lawrence[/url] write and produce, they DJ and when playing live, they expertly utilise between them Drums, Keys, Guitar and Bass and employ an assortment of MPC gadgets for staggeringly accomplished performances. Musically, they mix and create 2 step and garage influenced bass music with airtight production prowess. Cited influences include everything from [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=324"]Burial[/url] to Joy O, to the classic jazz of Coltrane, Miles Davis and Roy Ayers, with their resultant output sounding like a unique hyperactive blend of all the above, cut with the fragmented samples of soulful divas.

Chasing Shadows is dubstep project of Joe Erskine & Luca Gulotta from Bristol/London, UK, who are often noted for their menacing signature sound. They came to prominence in 2009 when their dark production style broke through massive remix of Damian Marley “It Was Written“. They got signed by H.E.N.C.H Recordings, where they started with release of “Ill / Amirah” and followed by “Dr Sin / The End” receiving heavy support from Mary Anne Hobbs, Pendulum, Plastician and others. In 2010 they released rework of [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1393"]Depeche Mode[/url] classic “Dream On“, “Typhoon“, Master Shortie “Daydream” and their own “Odyssey“. And in December 2010 the remix of Chasing Shadow track “Amirah” from breakbeat legend Elite Force topped Beatport breaks chart.

Certainly one of the filthiest wrecking crews out there, Chasing Shadows is notoriously adept at combining chill reggae with glass-shattering basslines. Currently tearing it up worldwide!
