Carlo Lio & Coyu Mike Loves The Horn

Rejected look to round out the summer and call in the autumn with a track that has been igniting floors all season for label chiefs Edwin Oosterwal and Joris Voorn. "Mike Loves The Horn" also sees a Rejected debut for two artists who individually have rapidly risen to the top of their game.

Canadian producer and Rawthentic label boss Carlo Lio has enjoyed a whirlwind couple of years. As an artist his sound sits proud within the far reaching realms of Techno and Tech-House. Having spent the summer enjoying the delights of his Barcelona base, he also found time to step into the studio with friends, one of which being, Coyu.

Spanish producer Coyu has followed a similar musical trajectory to become one of the most in demand young producers of today. As a label owner he has also seen his Suara imprint go from strength to strength and become a home to many an established name. "Mike Loves The Horn" finds the pair in full party mode. Borrowing heavily from the legendary Jon Cutler, we are treated to a funky guitar riff, which is soon overpowered by the aforementioned 'Horn'. Both underpinned by the strongest of kickdrums. Edwin Oosterwal steps up on the remix and takes the original on a twisted run. A blunted filtered bass pulses throughout, backing a fearsome kick drum as the original's guitar is fed through the wah wah. Fine performances from all involvedIt's yours!
