I just got official word last week that the man will [b]finally[/b] be making his first club appearance in Germany! :mrgreen: The date is May 25 (Wednesday - the next day is a holiday) and it will be at the Butan Club in Wuppertal (~45 minutes from K?ln).

Sasha date is cancelled ... With Digweed at Butan, Coxy at 3001 and Sasha at Tribehouse that would be to much ... all the clubs are in a area of maybe 60km.

I hope Sasha is getting a new Date at Tribehouse or anywhere else in nrw

I've been to the Butan twice and both times were absolutely brilliant. The sound system was top-notch and the club itself is damn nice. It has 4 dancefloors - the big main floor, 2 large "side rooms" (one looking out over the main floor) and a smaller basement floor. There are a few pictures on their website. I'm not sure how many dancefloors they will have open for the Digweed show, but I am guessing all 4 (they are expecting a large crowd since the next day is a holiday). I think it probably holds around 1200-1500 people at capacity.

The crowd both times I was there was also really nice and likes to party late. Each time, we left the club the following afternoon, and the party still wasn't close to finished. :wink: The weather should be pretty nice by May, and there is also a large outside area to hang out.

Digweed is scheduled to play a 5-hour set. Obviously if he wants to play for longer, nobody will make him leave the decks. :wink: I will do the warm-up set (~3 hours) before Digweed, then D-Nox will play after him.

But it gets even better! :mrgreen: I just found out that there has been another addition to the lineup:

He is flying in after a gig in Moscow and will play after D-Nox.

Needless to say, the party will go until the afternoon. This is going to be a really good night. :D

For anybody coming from far away (and also people nearby), it is recommended that you reserve your tickets in advance. I just spoke with somebody involved with the organization and he said they have already had 400+ tickets reserved, and they expect the club to be completely full during the night.

You can reserve tickets through the Butan Club website ([url]www.butanclub.de[/url]). I don't think you actually pay until you pick up your tickets at the door.

HOLY JESUS what a line-up. Kasey Taylor and D-Nox are my two favorite dj's in the world. I would rather see these two than Digweed, but I'd like to see him too.

Dave, he said that that he had read on another board that Digweed will be there from 11 pm on and he could choose when to start..so that if enough people are in the club already before midnight, he could as well start before midnight then. Can you confirm this?

I'll try to get in touch with D-Nox today to nail it down for sure. I got the impression that the schedule was pretty flexible, as far as Digweed was concerned, but they expected him to probably start sometime around 1am. I doubt he would cut the opener off after only an hour, but if he told me at midnight he was ready to begin, I wouldn't tell him "fuck off, I'm trying to mix!". :wink:

Tom, are you ready for the Cowpander -8.0 mix? :twisted: I had to request a special CD player that has +-20% so I could still play all of my hardhouse & Tiestotrance favorites. Got any special requests? :P

But the real important question....when/where will the MSers meet up for a few rounds of J?ger shots??? :D

I never have been to that club. Suggest a cool place to meet and tell me when and I will be there. BTW, I reserved tickets via the homepage of the Butan club but I did not get a confirmation...how does this work? Do I need to be there at a certain time already and where do I get my tickets? Or must I only tell the doorkeepers the name of the reservation? Or aren't they able to reserve tickets anymore and that?s why I did not get a confirmation? Questions over questions.... do you have any influence on that club and if so could you do something that I get (and pay for them of course) tickets?

My only contact to the club is through D-Nox, so unfortunately I don't know what the deal is with tickets. He's back in the country sometime today so I will try to get in contact with him, although I doubt he'll know much more. I saw you posted your question in the Butan forum, which is probably the best route to find out info.

Send me your digits in a PM and I can get in touch with you tomorrow afternoon sometime in case I don't find out before we leave. I should be seeing somebody with the club around 4pm.

Regarding meeting - does anybody want to miss any of Digweed's set to meet up, or should we wait until after we have been thoroughly blasted by the master? :twisted: Either way, I would suggest meeting in the Brauherr (the other big room on the same level as the main hall) in front of the bar.
