Quantize now looks upon a new chapter, a new era to embark on. We have taken on a newly refurbished venue stripped back raw to it's brickwork, Basing House is the comfortable new late licensed (4am) venue in Shoreditch. Equipped with Funktion 1 stacks, a nice big bar, plenty of space to bust a groove and a tidy roof terraced smoking area. We are looking forward to showcasing some of our favourite international djs/ live acts playing house & techno here, whilst still maintaining the intimate vibes that we've always had.

Every two months we'll be flying in a new guest to play alongside our London based talents, people who inspires us whether it be house or techno, real beats, real quality underground music is guaranteed.

So we'll start as we mean to go on, Friday 22nd July flying in from Berlin will be DJ/ Producer/ Label Boss and resident of the notorious Panorama Bar...

Spinning and producing a wide spectrum of music ranging from the deepest of House, to the harder side of Techno, [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1470"]Oliver Deutschmann[/url] has made his humble mark on electronic music and the Berlin scene for the past decade.

In 2010 Deutschmann launched a new imprint 'Falkplatz', which came from his need to have an open unbounded platform for electronic music. The label has since released Oliver's productions remixed by [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=164"]Quarion[/url] and [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=437"]Nick Chacona[/url], an EP from [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1650"]Ed Davenport[/url], and a new series of releases called 'Collabs' with co productions of Oliver with friends and projects, such as gowentgone, SubbroomAssosciation, and Koljah.'Falkplatz' also unvieled the 'daten' catalog with a release by Ron Deacon supported by a [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=193"]Sascha Dive[/url] Remix.

Some notable releases from [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1470"]Oliver Deutschmann[/url] towards the end of the year and in 2011 are the 'Waterfalls' EP including a Patrice Scott remix on Jack Off, Davenport & Deutschmann's 'The Kristian Slayter' EP including Mathias Vogt and Roberto Bosco remixes on Polytone, Gowentgone 'Walk With Us' EP on Vidab, and the highly anticipated Davenport & Deutschmann 'Trump' EP including [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=299"]Brendon Moeller[/url] and [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=806"]Jerome Sydenham[/url] remixes.

Apart from catching [url="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1470"]Oliver Deutschmann[/url] playing regularly at Panorama Bar in Berlin or other European top spots, festivals like Sonar in Barcelona or Krauss in Osaka, from December 2010 Deutchmann will hold a residency at the 'playOn' parties taking place in Italy, Spain, and Germany with further cities to be announced.
