wouldn't you rather HEAR how they sound bro? I'm sure for that price and the fact that almost ever big band uses them, they sound pretty damn good.

Oh and with the Ultimate Ears, they have you go to an audiologist to have molds of your ear canals made, and then they send those to the UE people who put in all the electronics so that they fit perfectly with your ears.

familar with that process, I wear hearing aids. Ive had plenty of molds made, nothing special. They are fantastic! :) Id recommend everyone get earplugs, even if its those -15 heros ones with the rubber ridges.

last time I had molds made I had custom musicians earplugs made, -25 db best $180 I ever spent. then I went and lost one at avalon: DOH.

I've been trying to figure this out ever since I saw him at DEMF back in May. The earplugs Jeff & Thrax linked to seem pretty similar. Thanks guys

You are welcome. I'm thinking of getting a custom set of earplugs for clubbing, but alas, I don't do much clubbing in Columbus anymore. Since S&D everything else is just crap.
