Re: Wacom Demonstration video.
cool! I wish it wasn't so expensive, at least for a hobbyist user.
I have a Intuos 3 that I hardly ever use because I dont have much spare time. There is also a bit of learning curve going from a mouse to one of these tablets. But they are really nice.
Re: Wacom Demonstration video.
Most people say about these Cintiq's that the learning curve is basically learning how to calibrate it and then getting used to drawing on a 1/4 inch think piece of glass. I'm seriously thinking of getting one, but first i just wanna make sure this is what I wanna do.
Re: Wacom Demonstration video.
I work woth an intuos3 at work, took me half an hour to adapt. Also got me a bamboo A5 at home now (but will be upgrading to intuos when I can afford it), I really don't use a mouse anymore...
Cintiq looks cool too, but it may be better for a real illustrator than a web designer or graphic designer -they don't have that specific need for a 101 drawing experience, that is my guess.
Re: Wacom Demonstration video.
Yeah it does look like the people i've seen with it for the most part are just illustrators.
