Just figured out how to make GIFs with CS3 Photoshop. Thought it would only work with Image Ready CS2. Avatars here I come.

the bad thing is that you cant open already made gif to modify, tried but i coulnt do it....not sure why, guess you need the psd

Yeah, just open the animation window and presto Image Ready is back in the game. I was excited when I found this out. Used to use Image Ready for quick banner ads and other goofy fun stuff.

It's a bit unnecessarily complicated in CS3, I'll give you that...Fireworks was easier (and better IMO).
