Nice Yao. The river shots are ideal of HDR photography. I am not certain if you camera has that option of -2, 0, +2 settings, but if you can manage to capture you can really have some fun with those.
Love the bathroom shot. Very creative and fun. Nice job. ;)
Re: Kickpics update
As far as I can tell my cam is not that advanced...it's still a compact but lets you adjust a lot of features, though not as many as a read DSLR. Maybe in a while I'll shift to a more advanced model since I've noticed I'm taking to photography more and more, but it still won't be a DSLR -I like a very versatile compact camera so I can take it everywhere and still won;t have to carry much weight. It's a compromise I'm willing to make.
Hoping to check out the bigger brother, Canon Powershot A640. I own a 540 now. The G7 might actually also be a really good buy for what I intend to do with it...
Re: Kickpics update
Fok, me likes this one... I love how the sky looks in combo with the rest. Freaky colors...

^^^ perfect for HDR. Just perfect.
Re: Kickpics update
That pick seems to hit home with a lot of people...nice hearing that :D
Re: Kickpics update
You really have two elements in that image that are working really well. The nice capture of the "starring" of the lights, and also the sky at dusk/dawn. It creates this false reality which only photos can capture. Truly a wonderful moment. ;)
Re: Kickpics update
Just playing with your image because I like it so much.

Re: Kickpics update
How much you think it would cost to move to Amsterdam? Beautiful city.
Re: Kickpics update
emmm....a lot, hahahaha. But this is Leiden, a smaller city about 30 mins to the south. Has everything i need and a lovely place to live, and i can go anywhere quickly enough...one of Holland most history-rich towns too. It's like walking in an open air museum all the time ;)
Re: Kickpics update
nice! 30 minutes isn't far away. I used to live about 30 minutes east of downtown columbus, so I understand what the whole 30 minutes is. I would love to visit that place someday.
Re: Kickpics update
