well well well, im new in this bussines....so i want some positive/negative opinions to improve and teach myself way better...anyway i will let you do the work...it is for a band of rock...hes a friend of mine....

not bad. i would try removing the shadowing effect. The only reason is because you have the font shadow going one direction above, and the shadow on the bottom going the other opposite direction. also simply try black and white. You will be amazed how effective that is. ;)

I was actually going to make the same remark on the shadow, lol. Just lose it, keyword is simplicity even when it needs to be a 'baroque' type of logo.

Otherwise it looks pretty cool...

what kind of music is it?

heavy metal could use some blend between gothic and baroque...dark stuff. Normal rock? something that simply captures the feel of the music. ACDC and Kiss logos are still well known for example.
