Hello, thought I'd share some of my old stuff. As you can see, my stuff is usually not finished. Most of these scans have been cropped so you dont get to see the entire drawing...sorry.

Re: BureOne's art work

Thanks, to be honest I havent' drawn anything now in like 7 or more years. I have this really cool 1955 custom Cadillac drawing I did back when I was in college. I'll take a pic and post it on here some day.

I really want to do another classic car project like it. I'll see when I can take a picture of it.

Thanks again for the kind words!

Re: BureOne's art work

Dude, you have some serious skills both on the decks and with a brush/pencil. Thank God people like you can compensate for those like me, for whom stick figures are a challenge.

But I sure as hell appreciate fine art like a good mix or a good painting!

Take care, PK

Re: BureOne's art work

I loved the black and white drawings man, especially the unfinished one of the guy leaning against a lantern pole...there's enough feeling in that to tell a whole story even though it's unfinished!

Try and pick it up again dude, or yours would truly be a talent gone amiss...

Thanks Yao and Pk!

I currently dont have any space for my artwork/supplies as my desk is now filled with 2 decks and 2 cdj's two monitors and all that crap... But I have been sketching in my book so all hope isnt' lost:)

thanks again for the kind words!

oh man I cant believe I missed seeing these. That one of the girls eyes is so capturing. Are you selling prints ? I'd love to have a black and white frame around her eyes.

Sorry, I remember I promised posting it. Still don't have a camera, I've taken some pics with my cell phone, I could post those, but not may look as good. I'll see.

Hey Kamal, most of the drawings were done in a basic 8 x 11 black sketch book. So not sure how prints would look. I could try and re-scan them and maybe take a trip to kinkos.

Re: BureOne's art work

#832938Post 28 of 32

Re: BureOne's art work

How the hell did you manage that?! Can you upload a better quality pic please so I can take a better look?

#848694Post 29 of 32

Re: BureOne's art work

ok, so I finally got myself a decent digital camera with all the change I had lying around.

here are better pics of the caddy and some close ups for ya shpira and anyone else interested. If you notice, I did fuck up on the trunk. Even though it looks ok overall, the trunk should have been done with nothing but chalk.

Instead I forgot the whole concept of the class and tried to blend the colors with marker, giving it a somewhat "watercolor" look.

If done correctly, it would have looked a lot more realistic. The entire semester consisted of drawing spheres, cones and cubes. That's it, all fucking semester long! But it prepared us for the final project which was a vehicle of your choice, done with what we learned through the still images.

Pretty cool, I really enjoyed that class.
