Re: kpf. (architects)

i understand that her paintings are based on her projects. i have seen her speak at Yale's architecture school and am very familiar with her work. her paintings hold true to some of the forms and ideals of her work, but the paintings will never run into the legistical problems you run into while constucting a building under the codes needed. (especially the codes in the US). thats why i feel that her paintings are much more dynamic than her projects. the paintings also leave more to the imagination than her projects which have already been run through a filter of functionality and given true form vs. the imaginative forms of her paintings.
