naa I did need to get one for my study (now that its completed). I was using a 15" oldie that was lying around and I had my eye on this one for a while. So as soon as I saw this deal came about, I jumped on it.

just got this behemoth few days ago. Agree with DA, it would be nice to have a larger resolution but it's still fine in full HiDef. The picture quality is really good, watched the intro scenes of Avatar (BluRay) to do a quick demo and you can easily tell the graphics shots aren't real (unlike in the theater, where it was hard to discern from the poorer quality).

built in speakers is good (less table clutter/wires), has a remote control, has the ability to hook up an antenna for OTA TV broadcasts (though I haven't tried it out yet).
