24" monitor - what to get?

Anyone have any direct experience with any monitors and can make a recommendation? I've always appreciated the quality and clarity of Apple's monitors but they're ridiculously overpriced. Is there something that will make it in terms of specs?

This monitor will be used for design stuff, not gaming by the way.

Don't you ever provide constructive responses?

I have heard good things about Dell IPS monitors. Not tried one personally, but might work for you.

Re: 24" monitor - what to get?

This is what I have... I'm a designer, did my research a few years ago and I absolutely love this monitor.

Colors, viewing angles, etc... are great.

I don't think they make this monitor anymore but if you can find it, it's great.

However, do your research and see what others think as well!!

I've actually heard the same too. They seem reasonably priced.
