Damn, I was sold on HD Camcorder and DLNA..... but there is so much more I see.... wow. Looks like I am gonna have to ditch my Hero for this baby.

No hate for the iphone (cause I still think its brilliant) but I am so happy that HTC and Google have stepped up their game :)

more tech we dont need and with nice ads they make us buy it hehe. Its the same stuff as the Iphone or other HTC devices but just with a hardware/software refresh, i wouldnt buy it unless my phone lands on the toilet or something like that.

Some nice features that can be added in other phones with a simple software update though, its not a gamechanger in anyway.

HTC makes the worst phones on the planet. They are nothing but problems. I use to work at T-mobile and they were problems then and even more problems now. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY dont by anything from them.

I was just considering to buy an unlocked HTC desire based on that video, seems I will end up getting an iphone as my secondary phone just cause apple makes me wanna have it.

I am thinking of getting this...just got the new blackberry which I use for work but i need a fun phone for myself. i think this won the T3 award for best phone of the year. (iPhone 4 got best gadget award)

I have to say the designers of iPhone competitors are so far off the mark. Whether right or wrong, there is a fairly large portion of iPhone users that barely use any of the features and have probably purchased based purely on the design/look and the fact the usability of the iPhone is very slick. For example, the basic touch screen functionality (scrolling etc) is far superior on the iPhone to any other smart phone.

I think competitors need to get the basics right, and hire some proper designers. The back of the HTC desire is horrible.

I ended up getting this one as a present when I went back home this month. I must admit I do like it a LOT more than my wife's iphone. I haven't compare the photo quality and yes perhaps the "smoothness" of the OS is lacking compared the iphone, but .... it' still a helluva phone.

HTC are bad azz. I have had an HTC pure for about a year and a half. Excellent piece of hardware. Can install any ROM I want on it runs fast, no problems. Can play any AVI, MP4 file on it. Excellent battery life the list of positives are endless. Only bad thing no Skype and no flash. Definately getting another HTC for my next phone.

skype and flash are both out on htc. I have installed skype and even made international calls over wifi, works great.
