i'd go for Fifa2011 ... PES hasn't had any significant improvement since 3 or 4 years ago and from what I've saw of the upcoming one it's pretty much the same

I haven't played PES, but i played Fifa extensively and i'm not a fan of it. I'm not a fan of EA in the first place, so coming out with a game that is half-assed isn't fun. A lot of little things really bug me:

• there's no depth in the stats
• very little in the way of autonomy regarding camera views when playing as 'be a pro'
• inability to choose whatever weather conditions u want in certain areas.
• there's no preview of uniforms before going into the match, so no matter how hard you try and separate the colors, a lot of times, the bottoms add to the confusion.
• the AI does a lot of stupid stuff, like wait for the ball, incorrect passes, and just standing around after a shot
• incongruent play between a pass-to-touch (often times players will wait a second after u hit the pass button)
• LIMITED customization with the controls--you can't mess around with the configuration to suit your own style
