Hi guys,

Need some help here. I need a work a round to browse the internet from work which is currently blocked. I can ping some sites like yahoo and ms but not sure if there is a way to access them via a browser.

Maybe you can remotely connect to your desktop at home and browse from there...

If the sites are blocked in your PC then surely it is blocked by the service provider. I think you should try the proxy server for that because it can help you to open the sites which are not available to your PC. Just try once, I am sure you can do it.

If Remote Desktop doesn't work, try VNC. i think it lets you configure the port, which should help in getting around any company-imposed port blocking
