i think it is.. basically i have a chinese or japanese language trainer thing playin all the time. i've gone to task manager and says that theres nothing runnin - think my laptops got the plague!!! arghhhhhhhh!!!

yup, sounds like a virus. get malawarebytes antispyware and search&destroy. Those will do the job.
