xbox 360 question

Here's the deal, I have an older ibook G3 notebook that I can most likely get $300 for... I was offered an Xbox 360 for it...

Are Xbox's worth $300 to anyone? If the answer is no, would a few games, or controllers also thrown in make it worth $300?

What can you gamers tell me?

Re: xbox 360 question

Make sure that its a newer model. The old ones tend burn. I guess 5-6 games and dual controllers for 300$ is fine...

Re: xbox 360 question

He sent me another message that I don't understand...

It's an elite it has a 120gb hd, 2 controllers,a charge tower and a game.

Re: xbox 360 question

The elite is a newer model. It has HDMI output, larger HDD (120gb) and is black in casing (including controller).

The older models are susceptible to the "red ring of death" but I'm pretty sure the Elite no longer has this problem.

A charge tower is a device to charge spare Xbox controller batteries externally - as far as I know anyway. Not really a big deal as you can connect the wireless controller direct to the console via USB (which means you can play and charge at the same time)

Re: xbox 360 question

We had a problem with our elite where the cd drive went bad. As it was going bad it was making rings on the cd from rubbing. I had to replace my son's HALO 3 and the latest HALO game that we bought back in November because it just chewed them up. It's fixed now but just want you to aware of it.

Re: xbox 360 question

ended up getting $250 for the ibook, which wasn't bad given it's lack of ram and memory
