€250
Re: Headphone Suggestions
^^^ wow, they aren't that dope, lol
Re: Headphone Suggestions
it probably has more to do with the Adidas brand than the headphones itself
Re: Headphone Suggestions
How much do you plan to spend?
Re: Headphone Suggestions
I've read the HD-25-1-II aren't as good as the originals?
Re: Headphone Suggestions
it probably has more to do with the Adidas brand than the headphones itself
true but Sennheiser are good headphones though
Re: Headphone Suggestions
i have using a pair of HD25 myself for the past couple of years .. really love it but i wouldn't pay €250 for Adidas' branding though

IMO these are so worth the money it's not funny. I got these at a super discount when Circuit city was going out of biz, for like $150. I use them so much even at home just when surfing the web. Their ad truly mentions it correctly, use it as a "sanctuary". Pretty much disconnect the outside world when you put them on. They're not active noise cancellation, but passive. Yet, they just work.
Re: Headphone Suggestions
I'm not looking for pro DJ headphones and the $150.00 range is good, anything over that price point would be a little excessive for headphone IMHO....
I'll check out those Bose ones, they look tasty! Thanks K :)
Edit - I take it the original price for the Bose headphones is $300?
Re: Headphone Suggestions
Edit - I take it the original price for the Bose headphones is $300?
No that is for the active noise cancellation ones. These must be around $175 or $200.
EDIT - They're running a discounted price on their website. About $162

Re: Headphone Suggestions
^^^ Sweet!
Re: Headphone Suggestions
Bose has a bad rep but I recommend these ones too, bass is surprisingly tight and punchy. Yery comfy for whole-day listening, those pads are real soft and cushy.
Re: Headphone Suggestions
true but Sennheiser are good headphones though
+1
Second to none imo - but i guess it's as personal a choice as anything else..
I like them not just for the sound but also comfort, an often overlooked factor if you plan on wearing them for any length of time..
Re: Headphone Suggestions
I'm looking into getting a pair for djing when I make my next purchase, i want to move away from sony
Re: Headphone Suggestions
This looks like an awesome deal for Sennheiser's. Just hope that they are not too heavy.

Re: Headphone Suggestions
^^On that price range I would get Shure 310 they are in ear headphones but so sweet its feels like you have a subwoofer in the center of your head.
Re: Headphone Suggestions
I ended up getting the Bose QC15 Quiet Comfort as a pressie for Christmas. Now I'm not sure if I wanna keep it or exchange it for the On Ear ones.... hmmmmm
Re: Headphone Suggestions
What's wrong with your Bose? The one Kamal and I have tried don't have any active noise cancelling. I think it's the On Ear Headphones.

Re: Headphone Suggestions
Oh nothing wrong with it. I'm was just wondering if the On Ear ones are lighter in weight. If not I'll just keep the QC15.
Re: Headphone Suggestions

^what he said. i've had technics, pioneer, and allen and heath and the AH are by far the best i've owned for djing. i narrowed my search down to the HD25, Ultrasones, and the AH. It was a pretty easy choice picking the AH after i listened to them all.

Didn't this start off as looking for a pair for just listening? not dj'ing ?
:?:
Re: Headphone Suggestions
Best headphones ive used: Sennheiser. Specially the open-air ones, which feel like if you got nothing on your ears. I still have my HD-570 and they work like a charm.

fair dinkum
My sennheisers sound great and despite appearing bulky, can be worn for hours without even noticing.
For dj'ing they're next to useless as they neither have enough volume or enough "punch" for the job. Also, they don't stand up well to the twisting and general physical abuse of using them out. So for dj'ing i have a cheap and cheerful pair of Sonys that were given to me by a friend and have stood the test of time..
If i listen at home in the sony ones, it's about half an hour only before my ears are red hot and i want to take them off
edit;; i'm sure sennheisers range cater for djs and different models vary - i'm just talking about mine
