I just got a PS3 yesterday, and I'm loving it so far. What's more, my wife, who hates video games in a vitriolic way, LOVES the PS3 because of the BluRay, movies and TV on demand, ability to stream Netflix and Vuze content, etc. I'm not a real hard-core gamer and got it as much for its media center capabilities as for the games, and I'm really happy with the purchase.

I am looking forward to getting that Uncharted 2 game, though -- looks astonishing!

Anyone try the PlayOn Digital Media Server on the PS3? What do you think about it? Is there a similar free service that can be used instead?

Agreed! Gonna wait until boxing day though and see if I can get the PS3 on sale.
