There are better brands than HP and for less $$. You pay a bit more just for the name. For that money you can probably get a 23-24" with better specs.

Personally I like Samsungs. I think 23" is the sweet spot for full HD

Than it's no full HD. 22" is 1650x1080 and full HD is 1920x1080 so yeah 23 or 24 inches is the way to go.

yep, have a 22 inch Samsung flatscreen for the PC and a 40 inch LCD TV..both are awesome for the price.

dvi-hdmi wont transmit audio, just video. And if your vga has hdmi it will probably need to be connected to the mobo or soundcart in order to get the audio out of the hdmi output.

i have another question i jsut saw the 2233sw and it says is fullhd but it doesnt have HDMI input does that mean it isnt?

or the HDMI input is just if you want to conect you xbox/ps3/bluray player?

coz is more cheaper and im just looking for a good monitor with fullhd for games and movies

You should just be able to hook it up to a PC with a DVI cable, no worries. You can get hdmi->dvi cables for consoles etc. but then you have to deal with the audio separately.

just bought a 24" full HD monitor at TigerDirect for like $160, shipped. Brand is Asus, which wouldn't be my first choice, but it was cheap and it works like a champ.

Just bought a LG W2353V 23" display, Looks quite nice. Full HD with HDMI,vga and dvi inputs. Got it for about 260$.
