hah. good one, i used to play starcraft when i was younger. now i only play grand theft and grand turismo. only those games can hold my attention nowadays.

Not too sure about World of Warcraft though... looks more like a roll playing game instead of a strategy game, which is what I like.

Im almost finishing HL2 and Halo 2. Bought the WoW collectors and like it so far. The funny thing is i can never get enough of W3: THE FROZEN THRONE. fukin game has me hooked ever since it came out.....reminds me of the days i would camp on my computer playing BROOD WAR. :roll:

I'm on the east coast servers for pvp....two of them, obviously one for alliance, and one for the horde....tis an in depth game ;)

this is a very old post...but I am going to top it because I am genuinely interested in getting peoples opinions about it. I am looking to play a MMORPG and I have heard many different things about this one.

Perhaps I should wait for the LOTR game to come out?

this i can help on. my roomie was a gamestop general manager. i played em all.

warcraft-- fun until high lvl, then boring and a grind. nothign but kids and people who wouldnt help you unless they are getting gear .

guild wars-- free, fun. nothing spectacular, but really fun, easy to be casual with.

everquest1-- old, the one that took dark ages of camalot into huge MMO material.

EQ2, best one out there. literally is the obvlkivion game in MMO format. needs a monster graphics card, but oh so worth it. but this game is the polar opposite of WoW>, wow is crazy early and slow as shit late, this game is a bit slow early, but plenty to keep you busy, then you hit the high 30's and it really starts rolling.

the rest are all -- EH, good for awhile, bad in the long run. SWG has space dogfighting and missions which are fun as shit, but the ground game is lacking a bit unless you are a true PVP person, then it is amazing. i would say try EQ2, its still beating out LOTR in all aspects. and just had a complete whole game expansion.

im waiting on the team fortress 2 game, which intro'd me into clan gaming and multiplayer, but it isnt an RPG.

on the RPG front, wait for gamesworkshop's warhammer. everything said, that one is gonna be the bank breaker.
