Firefox is really starting to bug me now...

I can't get bookmarks to work.. not quite sure when this started happening! Anyone else have this issue? I have uninstalled and re-installed and still nothing. Bookmark All Tabs works but not the single page. If I click on the STAR nothing happens...:what

Any help/suggestions is much appreciated.

Re: Firefox Bug!

One time all of my bookmarks disappeared... I restarted my cpu and they were all back.

Don't know why they'd all of a sudden disappear or come back.

Re: Firefox Bug!

I assume you have already googled the problem? That's probably a more efficient route to a solution.

Re: Firefox Bug!

firefox has been giving me a headache for the past few months which has gotten worse in the last few weeks. random crashes, sound suddenly doesn't work on videos, and gmail for the life of me doesn't want to load in standard mode.

even though I'm against google's massive data-mining habits, I've moved back to google chrome.

Re: Firefox Bug!

i'm kinda thinking that some of my recent problems with my computer are mostly a result of the freakin updates from microsoft and all their so called bug fixes they are always having.

Re: Firefox Bug!

i have had problems with firefox lately on my mac... when i edit/remove or add bookmarks... i quit firefox and restart it, all of my bookmarks are the same before i made changes to them... VERY annoying.

i applied the update last night and havent had the chance to test out bookmarks,,, i hope it fixed it. if not, i will have to make the switch to opera or safari.

Re: Firefox Bug!

Dusk: Could it be your plugins causing the problem? Maybe try starting up Firefox with a new empty profile?

Re: Firefox Bug!

just tested it out... cannot edit the bookmarks at all. every time i delete a bookmark or add one and restart firefox, it keeps my bookmarks like i never made any changes at all. i am not sure if the bookmarks file within firefox is locked or anything but this is beyond annoying.

going back to safari.

Re: Firefox Bug!

well beta of 3.5 is out already, I might just jump onto that and see if that helps.

I tried disabling a few plug-ins with no joy. However I'll give a new empty profile a go... don't really wanna give up on Firefox yet :what
