Need to get a new mobile/cell phone...

I want a Nokia 7610 ('cause it looks cool :? ) but it costs too much. These are my options:

Sony Ericsson K500i Sony Ericsson T610 Motorola V220 Motorola V500 Nokia 3510i Nokia 5140 Nokia 6100

Anyone got one or have any experience? I don't need anything too fancy ? just tri-band, Bluetooth, GPRS, etc. I'm thinking the Sony Ericsson T610?

Hey dude i had the Sony E T630, i had it 3weeks and lost it out on the piss.

it was a great little phone. I have a shit one at the mo but if i was u id get the Sony E K700i

suppose to be a great phone. i wouldnt get the V220 as there very plastic lookin and not great.

My mate has an 02 XDA 2 and he looks so retarded when hes making a phonecall, its like holding an 80s pda in ur hand.

I have a T610 I do like it, you can put themes on it that totally changer every screen of the phone, not like shitty nokia and samsung, where you just get wallpaper...but yeah that doesnt really matter..i get good reception, and the volume goes pretty loud...ive used the bluetooth and infared, all work good, cool features. The only thing i hate about my T610 is the call listing, after a call/missed or whatever, after bout an hour or so it doesnt tell you the time they called, or the date, or anything, just the #....my old samsung would store all the info, time/date/call duration, other than that its a cool little phone :) the camera is just 'ok...not as good clarity as you would get from a sanyo or samsung...not sure about nokia or motorola...good luck

i had problems with my ericsson too

i usually buy the one that wont break, since i always drop it when im drunk

I had a Samsung before i got my new one and liked it very much, apart from one thing. The camara packed up after 10 months! Ive now got a Sharp GX30, i cant realy comment on it yet as i`ve only had it two weeks but i will say the camera is fucking asome for a phone.

You shouldn't actually need to lay down any cash for a phone, you can practically get every phone for free as long as you sign up too a contract for 12 months!

Nobody has suggested LG, that is hot phone around here, and we all use Verizon, which is awesome in the NY area. Personally I like flip phones, and the camera is a must IMO.

I had an LG and it was great. Had a Samsung and it blew goats. When I went to the store the person said that Samsung spends their energy on gizmos and features rather than the strength of the antenna, etc. Don't know if it's true, but they talked me into a Sanyo and I've certainly noticed a difference. The Samsung was only about 4 months old at the time.

I have an LG right now (the camera phone) and i would burn it if i could.. Don't get LG.. they are the worst phones ever made..
