Is there a way to record straight from my turntable into my computer with out a mixer or outside source. Where do I ground the turntable?

Help me with this turntable issue...
Re: Help me with this turntable issue...
Most turntables need a preamp, which your DJ mixer is. I think i've seen some boxes on the net that can help with the preamp issue and grounding issue. Try a nice google search for turntable preamplifiers, then you can plug it right into your interface for your computer.
You would wanna get a nice interface for your recording too, because if you just record into your basic soundcard. You're not going to get a very high quality sound out of it.

YouTube...can find anything on there :) (rip open the TT and self-ground the wire...great as is to not even have to worry about connecting it)
