Anyone install this? My computer keeps trying to install it and I have so far not done it. Wanted to get reactions to it first.

I have installed it like a few days after it was released, haven't noticed anything wrong so far

same, I installed it with Automatic Updates and haven't seen any issues. Also haven't seen any new functionality pop up... haven't searched release notes yet but it seems pretty transparent.

I had major issues getting it to install - and then have had some problems - which may or may not have been related to that upgrade. Removing it back to SP2 didnt help either.

Yeah my installation on my Mom's computer didn't go well either. It was having all kinds of problems shutting down and then would take forever to start up again. Then it finally got itself straightened out and now her computer seems to start up faster.

I don't know if I wanna go through that with my laptop.

Basically, "SP3 is cumulative, so users can install SP3 on top of Windows XP SP1 or SP2". Which means if Windows XP SP1 or Windows XP SP1 and SP2 are correct then the installation of the SP3 should be without problems. If you cannot install SP3 you should correct the basis first.

SP3 installed fine on my machine. Also slipstreamed it onto the XP install disc and that seems to work fine on every virtual machine I tried it on.
