^^ i may be dumb but im not dumber than you :D. 95% of the servers and gamers are located in USA/Europe so that means the information that is sent from my console has to go all around the globe and that takes some time. The result is a high latency which makes most of the games unplayable (for my taste). Try playing CS or some other game in a southamerican/euro server so you can test what im talking about.

there is officially as far as I know Xbox live in Chile and Brazil so if you live in Peru I doubt that is a problem, more like your ISP sucks balls

I'm really looking forward to the Netfilx integration. We already have a Roku player downstairs but being able to watch Netflix instant stuff upstairs will be nice. Plus I hear that you will be able to rip games to the HD for faster loading, quieter operation, but the disk will still need to be in the tray to play.

No, I looked into it but since I don't have either Vista or MCE on any of my systems I wouldn't be able to get it to work. While I was looking into it was when I came across the Roku. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed on the limited selecton Netflix has for their instant viewing. The good news is in the near future Roku will release a new firmware that allows access to other services.

I really don't watch many movies anyways. I find it too much of a commitment in time (I'd rather watch a short tv show cause its only 22 minutes). I have soo many entertainment choices but I never use any of them. I bought an FTA receiver but I really never use it, instead I just watch local channels. Most of the time I do stuff, because it's neat. I guess that makes me a geek.

you will need the disc in the tray to prevent people from renting games and copying them. proof of purchase really.

Games in multiple discs would get a boost from this, as you only will need one disc to play multiple DVD9 games like Lost Odyssey for example.
