Blizzard is letting it all ride on World of Warcraft right now and don't want people canceling their WoW accounts in favor of free Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. When Blizzard states they are "done with World of Warcraft" then you'll see production on games not take 5 years.

Best case scenario for D3 in my opinion is 2012. SC2 may still be able to pull a Q2 2010 release, but like I said, I'd be very surprised.[/QUOTE]

I really hate to toot my own horn, but anyone else find this a little eerie? Back in Oct 2009 I somewhat accurately predicted the release of SC2 and D3. Either that or I've been let down entirely too many times by Blizzard.

further down it says that the advert was made in-house (i.e., not by Blizzard) and the misspelling of "February" is also pretty obvious. Also, I would highly doubt Blizzard would send an advert to retailers without officially announcing the release date either.

Who knows, only thing we know for sure is that they said "Early 2012" last September.

Good news for Diablo 3 lovers! Yesterday I got a beta invite. Damn it is awesome. So far I've only played a barbarian but it's pretty sick on how things are.

Already level 57 with a witch doctor. Sick game but sadly its not like when Diablo 2 was out and I had no responsibilities what so ever. Buy it!

The game is pretty sick. I'll see if I have some kind of invite a friend access key Tiddles. If I do I'll PM it to you if you have not already got the game. I will say this though, if you liked Diablo and Diablo 2, just go buy it you won't be disappointed.
