The creature creator is out today! Free demo or the full version for $10. The demo is fun, but in no way worth $10 just for more options (imo)

i heard about this today and have been waiting forever for this game too.

just downloaded the free version, but it wont play without an upgrade to directx.

so i goto microsofts site and i cant download a directx upgrade without validating that my copy of windows isnt pirated, ok lame but whatever.

so i download the validation plugin, then it says that its not compatible with my version of windows (2000 pro). so it cant validate me, and therefore i cant download a directx upgrade, and therefore cant play this. wtf! damn microsoft you suck ass.

it is just the creature creator. i dont know why you would want to just buy that though. the real game isnt coming until sept. i believe

Maybe people want to create their creatures before the game comes out so that they can perfect their creativity.

yeah im not sure but i know a big thing with the game is all the creatures can be shared and auto uploaded or something to a central db and everyone can use everyone elses creatures in their games, this could be the start of it.

yeah - everything I've read says this creator came out first to allow thousands of user uploads to populate the world for launch.

This game might be the most conceptually interesting game I have ever seen. Its a 35 min video chock full of "holy craps".

the creature creator is going to be refunded when the whole game comes out. i read that on official site few weeks ago.

Wish I had NOT bought this. Got bored with it after a day. Creating creatures is fun and all, but there isn't really all that much to do with them.
