I cant uninstall a couple of programs (from eithe control panel or uninstall)

anyone have a link to a free application uninstaller please?

i should have been more specific - I have tried the programs in that link - having searched for uninstall applications; none of them help (or at least the 3 I tried). I have searched the wiki with no luck; I have upgraded the lot as but that didnt help either.

I am trying to remove azureus. It cant be found in the add/remove programs list (and couldn't be found in any of those 3 program lists either). From the programs menu, uninstall just launches azureus. I cant find an uninstall option when the program is running nor in the azureus folder as an option.

I cant start in safemode as its a work puter and restricted.

any idea's please? and/ore another term for uninstall applications that I could try searching for?

There is an Uninstall.exe in the Azureus folder, maybe try running that manually?

I have Azureus in my Add/Remove Programs.

Only other option I can suggest is to reinstall Azureus and then uninstall it? :NotMe:

the uninstall just launches the program - and its not in add/remove

I have reinstalled and used the manual unstall.exe - it then says its cleared it - but it remains in my startup menu and application data and programs folder (but it does delete the uninstall.exe program)

and yes Im on utorrent.

User error. Why would you want to get rid of Azureus anyways? Because it's functional?

I've used both, but stuck with Azureus. What's wrong with utorrent? It has a very small memory footprint and doesn't need to be installed.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. I'm just commenting on the user error. ;)
