Re: cookies
I'm mexican so anything i write is ignorant and uneducated. thankfully my kids are being raised in an american schooling system which is so much better than the tents i was born and schooled in.

Re: cookies
Tools > Options > Privacy > Show Cookies
Shows you all the websites that have stored cookies on your machine, for your perusal and deletion!
Re: cookies
Go into windows explorer and look for a folder with your login id and under your login there should be a folder called cookies. Look in there and try and find the cookie.
I cant give you the exact folder location because Im not on a XP machine right now.
good luck
Re: cookies
tried both things. restarted firefox. cookies are still there.
Re: cookies
How about you try removing all cookies? What are you trying to do? Got spyware?
Re: cookies
i have so many sites that i visit everyday i dont feel like going thru them all and logging back in. no spyware i just want to remove cookies for one of them as a matter of privacy from the other people that use this computer.
Re: cookies
Was about to recommend you delve into the cookies.txt file where all of them are stored, but that doesn't seem to be recommended.
How about you try these FF extensions that let you manipulate cookies?

Odd that my first suggestion didn't work though, it does exactly what you want.
