Not feeling so bright this morning. Anyone know a formula so I can calculate how long it will take me to transfer 267 Gigs into a firewire drive using a 400 cable. Thanks in advance.

Re: Firewire 400 Question

Yes, but the PC I have to use only has Firewire 400 outputs. I can't transfer the files on a Mac cause of the way the client formatted the firewire. I just wanted to figure out how long it would take. I feel dumb asking my boss.

Re: Firewire 400 Question

How long did it take you? I've clocked a 35 GB transfer and it took about 16 minutes.
