I'm looking for a windows media player plugin, preferably free, that would boost the volume on mp3s without distorting the sound...any ideas?

Re: windows media player plugin?

you can achieve a similar effect by clicking Now Playing, check "Show List Pane", toggle till you get to the "Graphic Equalizer" option, click "Turn On", select the bottom most radio button and increase the EQ.

Re: windows media player plugin?

that distorts the sound way too much for my liking...there's got to be some plugin that'll just boost the volume without messing with the eqs

Thanks anyways... ;)

Re: windows media player plugin?

I've always been happy with DFX. Been using it since '99 and am quite happy with it. It immensely improves the quailty over the standard Winamp. Get the trial version for testing. You will notice the difference.
