i just hope hl2 will be at least as good as hl1 i played doom3 for 10 mins or so and i hope hl2 will keep me a little longer

A lot of fans out there are very disapointed with these fukin idiots which keep on pushing the game back bacause of some new bullshit excuse. As for the latest news regarding HL2, they recently just anounced the packages that steam / retail versions will include. Right now i care shit about it but as soon as its out, i thing i will get the collectors edition which has lots of goodies and of course is a 1 disc dvd version. :FuckOff:

I only play one game and that is on PS2 called pro evo soccer 2, and I guess I am only going to buy pro evo soccer 3 when it arrives!!

Cant be doing with monsters that need blowing up and shit like that!!!

It actually hasn't gone gold yet. I have a friend who is a developer on one of the official mods for the game though, and he told me to expect it in November.

But that was before the most recent news regarding the lawsuit between Valve and its distributor. You can read about it here

Basically, this could end up delaying the game up to another 6 months. So now we may have to wait as long as summer 2005. I'm still looking forward to it, but not so much.

I'm still hyped for this game. Pretty sick of waiting, but what else can you do??? Everything I have seen and heard has me thinking this game is going to rewrite the books. Supposedly PC Gamer UK has a review of it and it got either a 90 or a 96, there's a couple different versions of the story. Its probably bullshit but if its not that is a very good sign.

Could care freakin less. Im sick of stupid games that are not willing to be original. Every game out there it seems now is just an overhauled version of another game. Thats why I just dont play anymore

half life 2 is still going to be the game of the year. Itll put doom3 to shame! The AI in doom3 is so pathetic, that after playing a few levels, you know exactly when and where the next bad guy is going to attack. They use the same method of attack, same randomness in appearence. You also can play with things in the world like you can with HL2. Pretty much everything is an object in hl2, so you can pick things up, throw them, see how they interact with certain actions.

even thos its been delayed again and again, itll still be well worth the wait.

Well - I'm so glad I didn't buy Doom 3 because it supposedly sucks as has been confirmed by some of the responses on this board.

Hopefully HL2 in November......

doom 3 got mad repetitive after the first couple of levels....now half-life 2 i doubt will have that problem.. i wanna see alien land walkers spear people and kick over cars.

I'd like to see what HL 2 will look like on a good pc. I've been playing HL1 on PS2 right now just to get an idea why everyone is so hyped about HL2 coming out.

I'm having a hard time liking HL1 that much because it's so old and the graphics aren't so good. I know it's PS2 and years old, but besides that someone explain why HL1 was so great.
