rented this the other day. the game runs smoothly & the graphics are great. if youve played the series before, gameplay is pretty much the same except for a few small tweaks (multiple operations to complete within a mission & the use of allied commands) not to mention the planes & weapons havent really changed much. & the story line gets a little boring.

recommend the rent. not so much the buy.

^ agreed. Feels like the exact same game overall, just slightly different missions. Even most of the planes are identical. It would be great if they came out with a version that had different eras. They could do a bang up job with a WWII aircombat game.

I must say though, the flying aircraft carrier was pretty sweet.

Is there a version of the Iraqi "war" out yet? That'd be sweet. I want them to make a game where you are the suicide bomber.
