I'm having this strange problem with my internet connection for almost 2 months. Although my internet connection works ok, it suddently stops working after a period of time (the strange thing is that I can send/receive email from windows mail but I can't access any p2p or internet explorer at all). So I have to switch off my pc as well as my dsl modem for 1-2 minutes in order to get my connection working again. In 2-3 cases switching off the machine didn't fix the problem so i had to format and install a fresh copy of vista in order to get it to work. I'm really desperate and I really can't affort another format! After an in-depth research I found this: [URL]http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937168[/URL] I did receive and install the hotfix but the problem got even worse. I couldn't access my mail or the internet and the connection seemed to be ok (currently connected). Any suggestions?

I was only kidding. I honestly have no idea how to solve this problem or how the hell it even happened. Sucks to be you though. That's about all I can say.
