I'm surprised there isn't a thread for this already.

I've got the collector's edition pre-ordered from Gamestop...so I get the exclusive Lava colored armor and the Mantawraith pet. I also get to join the Founder's Club ($149.99 lifetime subscription), but can't decide if I want to. Extra content is awesome and paying this will help fund it, but I'm just afraid that it will end up not being worth it. But at that price after the 15th month I will have a free subscription...so it could be.

Decisions. :what

Anyone else interested in this game?

Re: Hellgate: London

I would call it an action RPG.

And it comes out on Halloween.

Re: Hellgate: London

Now is an excellent time to upgrade...memory is dirt, and I mean dirt, cheap, CPU prices are falling, hard drive prices have been low. Of course video cards are video cards and will always be a premium, but even the 8800 series have come down a bit since last year.

Check out NewEgg and ZipZoomFly...they always have some kind of deals going on.

Re: Hellgate: London

I will buy it but only use the Singleplayer mode so I won't use their subscriptions. I play a Game a few weeks then I am sick of it..can't imagine to play a Game for a year or two in a row like the die hard junkies on WOW. I look forward to it though. :)

Re: Hellgate: London

I just saw a combo on an E6850 with mobo for like $260. Insane.

Re: Hellgate: London

finished the demo ... its basically an updated Diablo in terms of single player gameplay but online play should be interesting .. only gripe i have is how they are selling the game worldwide .. different region are locked to their region server ... ie if you bought your game in Asia then its locked to the Asian server and theres no way you could log on to the US or EU servers ... only found out about this after i pre-ordered online thru the local distributer

Re: Hellgate: London

thats the end of the demo if im not wrong ... i'm done with the same quests and the couple of zones and left with nowhere to go ... the interesting about the demo that i found out is that u could finish the zones, log off and come back with fresh respawns and get new gear off the kills ... had a nice rare sword dropped

Re: Hellgate: London

I was pretty disappointed the first time I played through the demo, but I just finished it again and I have no idea what I was thinking....this game is going to rule.

Someone told me pre-orders were going out today at GameStop...so I went....and got denied. :what
