I'm sooooo waiting for this one! However, judging from previous blizzard releases, I give it a couple of years until official release. Starcraft was an excellent game (even though I'm more of a warcraft fan myself).

Looks real nice. I've watched a gamplay trailer 600Mb, New terran units, stuff like that, nice new ideas, like the "farm" or something can go under the land level, till your troops pass by, and then back to normal. good tactics, gonna be a good game. Waiting to come out...

yeah tried that, the only fix that wroks its to kill explorer.exe and when you finish playing, restart it....its works so far..

That's interesting! How did you find that out?

Perhaps you need to turn off the Aero interface. Try that. But then again, maybe not :roll:

i did a google search took a couple of minutes but i did find it, not sure if blizzard is going to make a patch for this, hope...

also read that sc2 is going to be release this year... hope it coz the game looks sick and pretty much close to the original....

ok mate here is the trick

make a new txt document and put this inside it

taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\Starcraft\StarCraft.exe" start explorer.exe

you should put your own directory since thats mine and save it, rename the file .bat and run that

it should kill explorer when sstarcraft starts but when you close it explorer starts automactly :D

You can do all of the above from the task manager - no need to write a .bat file :D

You can kill explorer.exe and then run the task manager again to start Starcraft.exe

Btw did you try turning off the Aero interface?

I, too, have read that the first installment (the Terran campaign) should be coming out this year (probably for Christmas :D ), but with Blizzard ... you never know.

i suck at micro, however i wont miss a game like this. Looking forward to not being able to manage more than 5 units at once. The battle report is sick. Really looking forward to this game.
