picked up the HP2550se a few days ago. Finally got a chance to work on it. Diggin' the 14" screen, and the 12-cell battery. Resolution is excellent, but I've seen better. My only beef is that it collects fingerprints rather quickly. This goes without mentioning how difficult vista has been. I've never used it before and it's just been a pain in the ass. a small one, but a pain nonetheless.

ps for those nice little marks on screen get some iKlear. This stuff works amazingly well, and I started using it to clean my camera lenses. The kit comes with a really nice cloth to help you remove some of those nasty finger do-do. Works so well, I do not take showers no more.

Just use lcd cleaner. Either the bottle and a cloth designed for eyewear or just get the actual lcd wipes. Works great. Even use it on my tv downstairs.

No. 1 tip about Vista, turn off User Control. Freakin' annoying.
