pretty fun game. graphics are pretty good & i havent experienced any frame shutter. its been several years & 2 gens back since i last played a rally game (ps1), so this was a very refreshing update. this game is a very fast balancing act, feathering the gas, or letting off enough to rotate the car & get the front pointed in the right direction. this game inspires me to prefect my line & race a track over & over again shaving my times. there are like 6 different kind of races (both solo & against cpu drivers) & you have a few options on which cars to choose for specific races (46 cars / trucks in total). the menus are streamlined & easy to navigate. you can adjust the settings for the cars (suspension, gearing, etc.) but i found the game adjusted those settings per race pretty well. this enables to you jump right into a race w/o getting bogged down in menus, settings, etc.

plus this game really has started handing out lots gamer points pretty early & often.

Re: DiRT - 360

bought it for my pc, running a steering wheel with it aswell, for me thats a must add on accessory lol, i,ve bought every mcrae rally since i first played it on the ps1. deffinately my favourite game of all time but this version is god dam slow in loading and i wish they had dumped all that other crap like rally trucks and other stuff for some more tracks etc in saying that though its still god dam classy

one other complaint though, in germany the co driver is a bit late on his commands which sucks big time

Re: DiRT - 360

yeah the load time is a bit abnormal on the 360 as well. i dont mind the extra vehicle races, it adds a little variation to the career. im only on the 2nd tier of races, but im shooting for 1st in pro or pro-am.

edit - now at 4& 5 tier

the big rig pikes peak race is the weirdest feeling of accelerating to 90 uphill. in a cinder block.

Re: DiRT - 360

I just picked this up a few days ago haven't played it outside the demo, been busy. Graphics look good though. Controls are dope. Look forward to beating some of your times. :D
