My dad wants to buy my old laptop so i figured that i should re-install windows xp to get rid of everything that is on the hard drive(porn, etc..)...well, I managed to format my hard drive and now my laptop wont even start up...what the hell do i do???? :shock::shock:

If it powers up, change the bios setting to boot from CD, stick in a Windows installation cd and take it from there.
Can't help you if it won't power up.

Oops, I had the wrong disc in..Had the operating system disk in the D: drive...I'm dumb. :what
