I looked and couldn't find this topic..I'm having problems downloading the Kiss sets..I just got a Mac and when I clicked on the download links, they saved as a Mac Excel file..Anyone else that has a Mac and/or knows what I need to do to download, your help is greatly appreciated..

doesnt matter how they come through, just change the extension to .mp3 and you'll be sorted

Safari downloaded them as some Mac Excel file...Then I tried Firefox and it wouldnt let me open it...Oh well, guess I'll keep up with the trial and error..Thanks Shawn :)

Thats the thing though, when I click on the download button, the file goes straight to the download manager thing. I never get a pop-up that would allow me to change the extension of the file. I realize that I would have to change a setting in the Firefox settings/preferences, but I don't know how...

weird i use firefox and all i do is clisk on the link and a pop up window comes up asking me to save. then when on the desktp add in .mp3 and bobs your uncle... good luck

The popup window only says "the file you are about to download is a binary file, download anyway?" <----no option to change the extension...

These are the steps I take, hopefully they work for you too:

1. Download Kiss set

[IMG]http://members.iinet.net.au/~bajj/downloadingkiss/02.jpg[/IMG] 2. Find it in the Downloads folder or where ever your downloads end up

[IMG]http://members.iinet.net.au/~bajj/downloadingkiss/03.jpg[/IMG] 3. Click on the name of the file to rename it

[IMG]http://members.iinet.net.au/~bajj/downloadingkiss/04.jpg[/IMG] 4. Add .mp3 to the end

[IMG]http://members.iinet.net.au/~bajj/downloadingkiss/05.jpg[/IMG] 5. Click Add

[IMG]http://members.iinet.net.au/~bajj/downloadingkiss/06.jpg[/IMG] 6. The set is now an MP3 file
