Currently using FlashGet. If you're using Firefox, try the DownThemAll extension.

^^ flashget is used for normal links while downthemall is useful for embedded files

I always used GetRight. Pretty nice and you can also use it for FTP...but you can't send.

Used a few over the years and ReGet has always been the best for me.
An extension to this topic, does anyone know of a download manager for linux which handles multithreaded downloading?
