getting a bit confused to all these various pricings at the moment. Even being an OEM that seems way too cheap. Or have I missed something obvious?

OEM = DVD in a paper sleeve shipped to you. Reduced pricing is thanks to no tech support, no costs involved for the DVD case and print-sleeves

Yeah, thats what I was reckoning. The main put off of it is I can't (or will have great difficulty convincing M$ to) transfer my license should I make major hardware changes. And I normally have 2 or 3 major hardware changes within the lifetime of an OS I am using.

think there is a way around that, maybe email MS support for a clearer answer
