Righty. I want to get myself a new Western Digital 500GB SATA harddrive as this RAID setup I have is overflowing with its pathetic 320GB's (!!). Anyhoo. Like a nonce when I setup my 2 drives originally I put them on the Intel SATA controllers and not the Promise controller.

Can I put a single drive on the Promise SATA connectors??

Anyone?

Might have answered my own question. Quick scan of the manual says you can set the Promise controller to RAID or IDE.
